Correction Policy

Our pledge: If we publish something factually wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently. No silent edits.

What We Correct

  • Factual errors: Incorrect specifications, wrong benchmark numbers, misattributed data
  • Pricing errors: Outdated or incorrect prices (prices change frequently — we date all price data)
  • Broken or wrong affiliate links: Links pointing to incorrect products
  • Outdated information: Products that have been discontinued or superseded
  • Typos and minor errors: Spelling, grammar, formatting (fixed without correction notices)

How We Handle Corrections

  1. Verification: We verify the reported error against primary sources
  2. Correction: We update the content with the correct information
  3. Transparency: For factual corrections affecting recommendations, we add a correction notice at the top of the article
  4. Notification: We notify the person who reported the error when it's fixed

How to Report an Error

Email editorial@compareaihardware.com with:

  • The URL of the page
  • The specific claim you believe is incorrect
  • Your source for the correct information

We acknowledge all correction requests within 2 business days.
